HSE Library: ebooks: ProQuest

Suitable for: Doctors, Nurses, Allied Health Professionals

The place to find links to all of our ebooks from ProQuest is here. When this link is clicked, choose your HSE region from the dropdown menu. You will then be prompted to log in. Please choose the "HSE Health Library Ireland Library Account Login" option and sign in with your library account details. You can register for a library account here. To access books, either browse for content or else leave the search screen blank and hit search. This will retrieve all of our subscribed content as seen in the following screenshot:

You can read any of the ebooks online on a mobile device or PC. From there, you can bookmark important parts, highlight passages and even make notes.

You can also download the book for up to 21 days at a time to your mobile device or PC. Select the download option for your selected book and then choose the device you are using:

Users on desktop will need the Adobe Digital Editions software. Bluefire Reader app is the preferred option for mobile devices. Both desktop and mobile users will need an Adobe ID which can obtained free of charge here. Email ronan.hegarty@hse.ie if you require any help with this.
