We provide a National Book Catalogue which allows you to search the national HSE  book collections.

Complete registration. Please note that you if you have recently borrowed books with a HSE Library site,  you may still be on the Library Management System. Please contact your Local Library staff to renew your access or advise that you are now working in a new hospital, so that your record can be updated.

ClinicalKey is a medical search engine and database tool owned by the scientific publishing company Elsevier.

The ClinicalKey ebooks package is directed mainly at doctors. It features 1000+ acclaimed textbooks covering 40 medical specialties, including Gray’s Anatomy for Students, Principles and Practice of Surgery and Medical Physiology

To use the ebook collection in ClinicalKey you must have registered with HSE Library.

Steps required to set up your personal ClinicalKey account (required to use App)

• Go to ClinicalKey.com click ‘Login’ and select 'Other Institution Login'. Type Health Service Executive into the search box. 
• Select HSE Library Account Login.
• A pop up box will appear, within Choose Organisation select your HSE Library area.
• Select 'Activate’ to create your personal account. 
• Complete form and select Register.
• Download the ClinicalKey App, selecting Global and then ClinicalKey from the menus.
• Open the App, scroll down to ‘Institution Login’ and search for Health Service Executive (Ireland). On the next screen select HSE Library Account Login. Enter your library account username and password.
