90 reverification on the UpToDate App no longer needed. 

Using your library account, you can now log into UpToDate using SSO technology, which means you no longer have to reverify your account every 90 days. Follow the steps below based on whether you are a new user, an existing UpToDate user, or if your email addresses do not match.

To set this up for the first time, you need to: 

1. Be on a HSE PC or HSE laptop on an HSE Network, in an HSE building and have an active HSE Library Account. 

1.a Register for an HSE Library Account

Then take the following actions, depending on what type of user you are

Types of UpToDate users

New UpToDate User  Exiting UpToDate User  Existing UpToDate User
Go to UpToDate

Email MATCHES on both accounts

UpToDate & HSE Library

Email DIFFERS on both accounts

UpToDate & HSE Library

Click on Register  Go to UpToDate Go to UpToDate
Then click on Register again  Click on Register  Click on Register 
Complete the registration form and follow the on-screen instructions 

Then select Merge

This will keep your CME credits on one account

Use the verification code to activate your account

IMPORTANT: If you have any difficulty merging your accounts you must contact UpToDate directly with your username email address/es, and ask for support by email at customerservice@uptodate.com 

NOTE: Once you have set up SSO, if you are using a PC and log in with your Library Account to any library service, you should not have to log in again when you visit the UpToDate website during your browser session.

Once you have your account set up or merged you can then use your Library Account to log in to the UpToDate App.
