The Vancouver referencing system is widely used in the field of medicine.

In-text citations are identified by Arabic numerals, either in superscript or round brackets, e.g. Murphy¹⁰ or Murphy (10).

Each source receives a number upon its first citation in the text. The same number is always used to identify the source thereafter.

Your reference list is (as you might expect) also ordered numerically.

Authors' names are given in the format surname and initials, but without commas or full stops, e.g. Murphy JP.

Journal titles are abbreviated and not italicised: J Early Interv Psych NOT Journal of Early Intervention in Psychiatry.
