Guide to Library Services at Naas General Hospital: Journals

To find out if the library has access to the journal article you need, please follow these steps:

Go to the eHealth Library Ireland A to Z Title Lists page and select Journal and type in the journal that you need. 

e.g. if you need an article with "physiotherapy" in the title, enter that term and you will get a list of journals we subscibe to with that term in the title

Make a note of the coverage of the journal that we hold (e.g. 2007-present) and then click on the link to access it.

If we don't have access, try the following steps to see if a legal, free text version is available of the article you need.

• Paste citation into Google Scholar
• Paste citation into Google along with filetype:pdf
• Install Unpaywall plugin on Google Chrome to see if an open access version is available
• Open Access Button

N.B. If you can't find a full text of the article you need, please email the librarian and he will attempt to procure it for you.
