Guide to Library Services at Naas General Hospital: Home

Access to the computers and study area of the library is available 24/7. When library staff are unavailable, a set of barriers will be pulled across to protect the book collection. This ensures continuous access to all colleagues to the PCs and study area.

Librarian or Senior Library Assistant usually available at the following times:

Monday - Thursday 09:30 to 16:30 excluding lunchtime

Friday: 09:30 to 16:00

Accessing Print Materials:

To begin borrowing books from the library, you will need to be set up on the library management system. Please approach the desk and library staff will help with this. Please note that you will need your HSE staff card or student card if on a placement as part of this process. If you prefer to self-register you can do so here. Going forward, users seeking to renew/register for an OpenAthens account will need a library account as this and OpenAthens are linked.

You can search our library catalogue from here. After performing a search, you can use the filter to limit the search to Naas General Hospital Library.
