Article 1

Article 8 of Directive 2009/81/EC is amended as follows:

(1)	in point (a), ‘EUR 428 000’ is replaced by ‘EUR 431 000’;

(2)	in point (b), ‘EUR 5 350 000’ is replaced by ‘EUR 5 382 000’.

Article 2

This Regulation shall enter into force on the twentieth day following that of its publication in the Official Journal of the European Union.

It shall apply from 1 January 2022.

This Regulation shall be binding in its entirety and directly applicable in all Member States.
