HSE Library is organised into a number of national teams to deliver our current 2024-2029 strategy. 

The teams are:

Digital Services

Agile teams led by Siobhán McCarthy and Laura Rooney Ferris work to ensure the best digital solutions are in place to help healthcare professionals in their everyday practice.

Information Skills

Led by Nicola Fay, this team provides online training to all users in a variety of topics.  

Evidence & Knowledge Support

Led by Siobhán McCarthy, this team sources the best possible evidence from the latest literature and summarizes it, saving valuable time.  The team also keep healthcare professionals up-to-date with the latest literature in specific subjects.

HSE National Central Repository

Led by Emer Quigley, this team manages the Repository which hosts approved national policies, procedures, protocols, guidelines and clinical guidelines.
