HLI is organised into a number of national teams to deliver our current strategy. 

The teams are:

Digital Knowledge Service

Led by Niamh Walker-Headon, this team work to ensure the best digital solutions are in place to help healthcare professionals in their everyday practice.

Information Skills

Led by Nicola Fay, this team provides online training to all users in a variety of topics.  

Evidence

Led by Brendan Leen, this team sources the best possible evidence from the latest literature and summarizes it, saving valuable time.

Knowledge Support

Led by Bennery Rickard, this team keep health care professionals up-to-date with the latest literature in specific subjects and make librarians as subject experts available for priority HSE projects

Estates

Led by Anthony Linnane, this team improve our physical library spaces ensuring they meet the needs of all our customers.

NCR 3PG

Led by Emer Quigley, this team is leading the development of a national central repository for 3PGs (Policies, Procedures, Protocols and Guidelines) in the health service.
